There’s nothing better than skipping out to your garden on a Saturday morning, picking a few vegetables and cooking them right there. It saves a ton of time and money because you’re not having to scan endless aisles, and grabbing a few impulse snacks so you don’t faint from exhaustion.
In addition, a farmer’s breakfast skillet is the perfect breakfast because it’s easy to prep for, cooks fast and requires minimal cleanup after using just one skillet. This one skillet meal is easy to adjust and add more ingredients based on the crowd size you’re cooking for.
Farmer’s Garden Skillet
Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 4 oz cheese
- 3 c milk
- 1 bunch kale
- 4 bacon slices- chopped
- 3 Carrots
- 1/2 c Parmesan
- 2 carrot tops
- 2 Garlic
- 3/4 c parmesan
- 1 c chopped broccoli
- 1 onion and hot pepper
- 1 Tbsp fresh time or1/2 tsp dried
Instructions
Directions:
- Remove stems and chop the kale
- Chop broccoli, hot peppers, and carrot tops.
- Shred carrots, onion and garlic. Shred cheese.
- Chop and cook bacon. Remove from pan.
- Melt butter in pan. Add produce
- Add salt and pepper
- Scramble eggs and milk. Add to pan with bacon.
- Add cheese and melt. Enjoy!
